LaQuita Harmon, age 75, of Clovis, New Mexico was born February 06, 1939, in Earth, Texas to Malcolm and Nora McCool. During most of her childhood she lived in China Lake, California on the Naval Ordinance Testing Station NOTS. At the age of 14, LaQuita and her family returned to Earth Texas. She attended Isabelle Cosmetology School in Lubbock, Texas and then established her clients in Muleshoe, Texas where she met her husband Kay Russell Harmon. She married Kay June 19, 1959, in Muleshoe Texas, and then moved all over Texas continuing her career while Kay opened parts departments for Ford Dealerships.
