Mr. Larry Don Hardy Sr., was met at the pearly gates of heaven by Jesus Christ, on May 17, 2020.

Larry was born on August 9, 1943 in Stanford, Texas to parents Olin and Ruby (Dykes) Hardy.

After Larry graduated High school he bravely served in the United States Army. Larry was awarded the Vietnam Service medal, National Defense Service medal, Vietnam campaign medal, a Sharpshooters badge (Rifle), and was awarded a bronze star for his courageous service to America.

Larry married the stunning Linda (Langston) Hardy on June 2, 2007 in Farwell, Texas.

Larry and Linda built a life together in Farwell, Texas and Larry wore many hats in his life. He was a truck driver for many years, and an R.A. leader at First Baptist Church Farwell. Larry enjoyed wood working, collecting guns, and going on several adventures with Linda, camping and riding four-wheelers in both New Mexico and Colorado. Larry was also a proud member of the Emmaus Group in his community.

Larry is preceded in death by parents; Olin and Ruby Hardy.

Larry is survived by his exquisite spouse, Linda Hardy, sons; Larry D. (Janice) Hardy Jr. of Amarillo, TX, Rob Hardy of Amarillo, TX, daughters; Karen Tanner of Amarillo, TX, Barbara (Bobby) Haile of Amarillo, TX and Heather Beverage, of Clovis, NM. Brother; Ronnie Hardy of Amarillo, TX. Larry is also survived by his 10 incredible grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers include; Robert Fowler, Robert White, Darrell Stephens, and Errol Johnson.

Services for Mr. Larry Hardy Sr. will be announced at a later date and a memorial service in honor of Mr. Hardy will held at a later date at the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico.

Contributions in Larry’s honor may be made to the Farwell EMS and the R.A. boys of First Baptist Farwell, Texas.
