Lawana Autrey

Lawana M. Talley Hall Autrey, age 85,of Texico, New Mexico passed away on June 7, 2013 at Odyssey Hospice Carillon House in Lubbock, Texas.

She was born on June 14, 1927 in Saint Jo, Texas to Charley Walter and Cora Ethel Laceman Talley. She married Ralph E. Autrey on August 13, 1980 in Farwell, Texas. She was a lifelong Texico resident and the owner of Sunnyside Trailer Park for the last thirty years. Lawana loved country western dancing and was an avid bowler in her younger years. She loved her family. Lawana was a member of Baxter Senoir Citizens Center and a member of the United Methodist Church.

Lawana is survived by one son: David Hall of Texico, NM two brothers: Bill Talley of Modesto, CA and Don Talley of Turlock, CA two sisters: Dorothy Wright of Carlsbad, NM and Marie Massey of Modesto, CA six grandchildren: Michael Barbara Hall, Robert Cassandra Hall, Jr., Lisa Hall, Shawna Nick Chalker, Michelle Hall and David Hall Daughterin law: Brenda Hall of Texico, NM and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband J.D. Hall, Jr. her second husband: Ralph E. Autrey three sons: Robert Hall, Delbert Hall and Joel Hall four brothers: Dickie Talley, Chuck Talley, Walter Talley and J.A. Talley and two sisters: Nita Wall and Nadene Whiteside.

Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico with Rev. Nick Cody officiating. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery in Texico, New Mexico. Casket bearers are Michael Hall, Nick Chalker, Jeff Romans, Robert Hall, Jr., Taylor Romans and Tyler Romans.
