Lawrence Sandoval

Lawrence B. Sandoval, 73, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Monday, April 28, 2008 at his home in Clovis, New Mexico. He was born April 27, 1935 in Avo, New Mexico to Miguel Diosita Baca Sandoval.

He had been a resident of Clovis all his life and retired from Excel Meat Packing after 20 years. He loved people and was a caring father. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Sylvia Sandoval fiance Victor Rangel and Diosita Charley Gary all of Clovis; 1 son, Lorenzo Sandoval Betty of Clovis; 2 sisters, Isabell Sedillo of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Sally Reyna of Clovis; 1 brother, Vince Sandoval of Albuquerque; 6 granddaughters 7 grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Manuel Christopher and 2 sisters, Bennie Domitilia.

A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2008 with Mass of the Resurrection following at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis. Father Sotero Sena will officiate. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 1, from 6:00 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Martinez, Victor Rangel, Lupe Bachicha, Pedro Ybarra IV, Lorenzo Sandoval, Freddie Sandoval, David Davenport, Paul Chavez and Gary Charley. Honorary pallbearers will be all his grandchildren and Salamon Cervantes, David Barela and Pedro Ybarra III.
