L.E. Goodman, age 71 of Clovis, New Mexico passed away August 8, 2013 at his home.

L.E. was born in Clarendon, Texas to Jasper and Oleta Goodman. As a young boy, he and his family moved to Belen, New Mexico where he finished his schooling and joined the Army February 27, 1959. L.E. then married the love of his life Karen Martha Hansen on June 14th, 1963. After that L.E. went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad and moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico for 4 years, then to Clovis, New Mexico where he retired after 32 years of service. L.E. enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, and chasing his grandkids all over Oklahoma to stock shows. His grandkids were the light of his life.

L.E. is survived by his wife Karen Goodman of the home, one son Lance Tammy Goodman of Clovis, New Mexico, one daughter Lexee Dennis Martin of Guymon, Oklahoma, grandchildren Aspyn and Wyatt Martin of Guymon, Oklahoma and Autumn and Russell Anderson of Portales, New Mexico, one sister Margaret Dotson of Belen, New Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are scheduled for Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dick Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Aspyn Martin, Wyatt Martin, Larry Coker, Terry Coker, Mike Goodman, Kenny Goodman, Alan Goodman, and Don Hethcoat. Honorary Pallbearers are all his Railroad Coworkers.
