Lee Godwin

alignjustify Lee Godwin, 67, of Clovis died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born October 30, 1939 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Melvin and Ethel Gholson Gilreath. She married John Hoyt Godwin on January 28, 1956 in Wichita Falls, TX.

alignjustify Mrs. Godwin was a long time resident of Clovis who loved to bake. She loved people and welcomed everyone to her home with open arms. She wanted to make everyone happy.

alignjustify She is survived by her daughter, Lori Gentry and her husband Darrell of Yukon, OK; four grandchildren, Hillary Godwin, Cody Gentry, Taylor Gentry, and Robin Gentry; a sister, Mary Dee Dean of Portales; and a brother, Melvin Willis Gilreath Jr. of Hendersonville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Godwin in 1989, and a sister, Betty Ann Ronan.

alignjustify Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.
