Lee Nutt

Lee F. Nutt, 72, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at his home. He was born July 6, 1935 in Avery, Texas to Robert Newton Lizzy Collum Nutt.

He grew up in Eric, Oklahoma and moved to Clovis in 1949. He worked for different farms and ranches and as a truck driver for Cambell Dairy 26 years, AMPI 20 years and MTS 6 years. He loved hunting, fishing, riding horses and spending time with his family and his mule, Jim Bo. He enjoyed bowling and playing 42.

He is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Nutt Kenni of Clovis and Kalvin Nutt Sofia of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 1 daughter, Karen Ashley of Clovis, New Mexico; the childrens mother, Dinnie Nutt of Clovis; 3 brothers, Bobby Nutt and Charles Nutt both of Clovis and Luther Nutt of Portales; companion, Shirley Wolfenbarger of the home in Clovis; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Kelly officiating.
