Ward on April 15, 1943 in Portales, New Mexico and they moved to Clovis in 1961. Mrs. Ward was a bookkeeper in cotton gins she ooowned with her husband in Texas and New Mexico. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Clovis, the Encanto Garden Club, Pleasant Hill Womens Club, Ranchvale Extension Club, WDC, and DAR. Her hobbies were geneology and gardening.br
