Leona Waite

Leona Elizabeth Waite, age 82 of Buckeye, Arizona former resident of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on July 15, 2013 in Goodyear, Arizona. She was born on November 10, 1930 in Tyrone Forge, Pennsylvania to Mark Lee Hatch and Catherine Susana Kipe. Leona grew up in Tyrone Forge, Pennsylvania until she turned 18. She married Theodore Richard Waite, while in the military they relocated to Clovis, New Mexico. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, canning, and even making candles. She was an outstanding wife, mother, motherinlaw, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her two sons: Theodore Emily Waite Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas and Richard Donna Waite of Lubbock, Texas two daughters: Kathy Christine Jack Twite of Clovis, New Mexico and Barbara Diane Thomas Ruby of Buckeye, Arizona one sister: Geraldine Ruth Kocher of Spruce Creek, Pennsylvania nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Theodore Richard Waite three sisters: Fayelda Zimmerman, Charlotte Marie Baird, and Caroline Louise Snyder two brothers: Elwood Meade Hatch and Edward Hatch, and three minor siblings.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00am at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Leonas name to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 7262 Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
