Letha Morris

Letha L. Morris, age 85, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at St. Anthonys Nursing Home in Clovis, New Mexico.

She was born April 5, 1927, in Bellview, New Mexico to Fonza Perry and Lola Holcomb Rierson. She moved to Texico in 1954 and was a Homemaker. She was also a lifelong Baptist and was a member of Texico Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean and husband Wayland Thomas of Clovis, New Mexico two sons, Floyd and wife Marilyn Morris of Plainview, Texas, and Keith and wife Jan Morris of Muleshoe, Texas her brother, Edward Reirson of Tucumcari, New Mexico twelve grandchildren and twentytwo great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband John J.O. Morris, her parents, and one son Donnie Morris.

Closed casket funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. MST at the First Baptist Church of Texico with Rob Hollis, officiating. Interment will follow at Texico Cemetery.

Casket Bearers will be her grandsons, Chris Thomas, Brian Morris, Barry Morris, Caiden Thomas, Austin Wright, and Logan Garner. Honorary Casket Bearers will be her greatgrandsons.
