Libbie Drain

Libbie Drain, age 45, of Clovis, NM passed away May 15, 2014 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

Libbie was born July 10, 1968 in Starkville, Mississippi to William J. Hughes and Faye Nell Cooper. Libbie was raised in Gary, IN and graduated in 1987 from West Side High School after graduation she enlisted in the U.S. Army and was an Aero Medical Tech at Ft. Campbell KY. After her 4 year enlistment she moved to St. Paul MN with a loving Aunt Dee she lived here until 2010. She worked as an optometrist assistant for the Optical Source in Clovis. She married Apostle James Drain April 7, 2011 in Clovis.

She is survived by her Husband James Jimmy Drain of Clovis, NM, Her son Robert Dearstine II of Brooklyn Park, MN, step daughter Rajama Drain of Clovis, Sisters Jackie Mickens Robert of Aurora, CO, LaTasha Lee Tony of Ft. Lee, VA, Melissa Hughes and brother William Hughes, a best friend who was more than a sister Latrice Walters of Brooklyn Park MN 5 aunts, 2 uncles, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and a host of other relatives.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Deliverance Temple Church 905 Rio Street in Clovis with Bishop Jackie Riles officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.
