Lillian Bost

Lillian Gertrude Bost, 91, of Weber City, New Mexico, died on July 11, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Clinic in Clovis. She was born on December 21, 1913 in Lindsey, Oklahoma to Alfred and Annie Southern.brbrShe married Glen Bost on November 8, 1931 in Lindsey, Oklahoma. Glen and Lillian moved to Curry County in 1940 where they farmed and operated a dairy. Mrs. Bost was an active member of the Home Extension Club for more than fifty years and served as president of the Curry County Home Extension Club. She worked at ENMU for 22 years and retired in 1978.brbrShe is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruby Burdette, Melva Condit, and Nella Cagle; brother, Bud Southern; and grandson, Dan Bost.brbrSurvivors include her husband, Glen Bost; daughter, Anna Lu Southard of Weber City; son, Gene Bost of Clovis; eight grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.brbrA graveside service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Melrose Cemetery with Rev.
