alignjustify Kay Noland, 62, of McAlister, New Mexico died Friday, February 2, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born January 13, 1945 in McKinney, Texas to Howard and Faye Mitchell Allen.

alignjustify Kay graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas in 1962. She married Bill Noland November 30, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern New Mexico University in 1983. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill of the home; 1 daughter, Amy Fury Dennis of Grady, New Mexico; 1 sister, Sheri McShan Bruce of Dallas, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Quade Kayleigh and 1 niece, Jodi McShan. She was preceded in death by her parents.

alignjustify She was raised in Hereford and lived in the McAlister area for 43 years and was a member of the House United Methodist Church.

alignjustify Kay will best be remembered by her witty sense of humor and love for life. She touched many lives and related well to her students during her 19 years devoted to teaching at Tucumcari High School. In 1999 she was recognized as Teacher of the Year for her hard work and dedication. Yet it was the family that was the highlight and purpose of Kay's life. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and the love and affection she gave will be missed always.

alignjustify Services will be conducted by Danny Sanders assisted by Sherman Martin. Honorary pall bearers are: Carl Parmer, Clyde Moon, Lawrence Widner, Billy Parmer, Donnie Webb, Randy Lesly, Lance Purcell and Scott Hodges.
