Linnie M. Coffman, 92, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Saturday, September 5, 2009, at her home in Clovis. She was born December 29, 1916 in Anson, Texas to Allie Lee and Lessie Barr Otto.

She graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 1941. She married Harold L. Coffman December 8, 1945, in Mountainair, New Mexico. She taught elementary school in Mountainair, Hot Springs, Alamogordo and Farmington, New Mexico and also at James Bickley and La Casita in Clovis. She retired from the Clovis Municipal Schools in 1983. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of 16th Pile Church of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter Betty Guy of Clovis, New Mexico; one son Larry Coffman Susie of Amarillo, Texas; one brother Joe Otto of Pryor, Oklahoma; two sisters Sadie Phillips of San Antonio, Texas and Ann Stratton; four grandchildren, David Coffman of Amarillo, Kristal Bradford of Round Rock, Texas, Alyssa Guy of Clovis and Cory Guy of Lubbock, Texas; two great grandchildren, Caleb Coffman of Round Rock and Jamie Bradford of Round Rock and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; 2 brothers, Allie Lee Otto Jr. and Fred Otto and 4 sisters, Mabel Gandy, Eva Nell Otto, Blanche Wadsworth and Della Stubbs.

Services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Steed-Todd Chapel with Jim Gammon officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
