Manana, Clovis, New Mexico 88101brbrAdditional information: Mrs. Crook married Howard Ruben Clark on June 14, 1934 inbrFort Scott, Kansas. They lived in Kansas until moving to Bovina in 1937. They then moved to Farwell in 1952. Mrs. Crook worked for the Hamlin Memorial United Methodist Church in the 60s and 70s. She also worked for the Farwell Schools as a summer driver for Head Start fromthe mid 60s to the mid 70s and drove a bus for schools from 1974 1978. As she was not able to attend high school in rural Kansas she was extremely proud of the General Equlvalency Diploma she earned in the mid 70s. Linnies spiritual journey began at a revival in the Bovina Methodist Church around 1949. She transferred her membership from Bovina to the Hamlin Memorial United Methodist Church in 1952 and was member for over 50 years. She enjoyed writing poems and even had a book of poems published. She also enjoyed painting. Mrs. Crook was a member of the Fanrvell Study Club, and the Senior Citizens of Texico-Fanrvell. Most of all she enjoyed her six children, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandson.
