Rosary will be held for Locario Leo Gallegos on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Steed Todd Chapel. Mass of the resurrection will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Sotero Sena officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Leo was born August 2, 1938 in Logan, New Mexico to Reducindo and Pauline Cordova Gallegos. He passed away on Thursday, January 08, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Leo was raised in Logan, New Mexico and the family moved to Denver, Colorado. He soon after enlisted into the U.S. Air Force. After his discharge he moved to Ft. Sumner, New Mexico and came to Clovis in 1972. Leo worked as a welder and a handyman for several local realtors. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

He is survived by three daughters Monica Gallegos of Amarillo, Texas; Rita Gallegos and Clifford Naranjo of Clovis; Dolores Gallegos of Las Cruces, New Mexico; three sons Leo Gallegos Veronica of Clovis; Paul Gallegos Tammy of Eugene, Oregon; Joseph Gallegos of Austin, Texas, three sisters Josie Lopez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Dora Sena and Mela Sena of Clovis, New Mexico; and twelve grandchildren.
