Lola Mae Maness departed this Earth on July 16th to receive her eternal reward of being with Jesus, her Lord. She spent her life serving Him and others.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Christian Family Church on Friday, July 22nd at 1:00PM in Chapels I and II. Her long time pastor, David Swann, will officiate.
She was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma, on September 9, 1936, to John and Victoria (Glass) Copley. Lola was raised in Muleshoe, Texas, wither her two sisters, Ester Corvett and Pearl McGuire, and her four brothers, John, W.T., J.R. and Bill Copley. All of these family members preceded her in death.
Lola married Charles Stanley Maness in Clovis on June 24, 1972. They resided in Clovis where she worked as a nurse at Presbyterian Hospital for thirty-five years and Charles farmed.
Living survivors include her husband, one sister, and one sister-in-law, Ella Copley of Muleshoe, plus many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a host of friends who loved her dearly and will miss her contagious joy and laughter.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
