Lorine D. Dannheim, 87, of Farwell, Texas, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Plains Regional Medical Center, in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born December 11, 1920 in Warda, Texas to Charles Lena Brabant Bohot.
She married William H. Willie Dannheim November 17, 1938 in Vernon, Texas. She moved to Farwell in 1940 from Plainview, Texas and helped her husband on the farm. She worked several other jobs over the years and worked many years with the Lutheran Braille Workers of America. She was a charter member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was very active. She was also a member of the Lutheran Womens Missionary League.
She is survived by 3 sons, William H. Dannheim Jr. Caroline of Farwell, Texas, Charles E. Dannheim of Amarillo, Texas and David Dannheim Vicki of Hereford, Texas; 2 daughters, Evon Levisee of Little Rock, Arkansas and Linda Fipps Frank of McLoud, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; 1 brother, Herbert; sisters, Minnie, Martha, Lillie and Dot and son-in-law, Austin Bud Levisee.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clovis with Rev. Scott Blazek officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell.
Casket bearers will be Grandsons, Charles Dannheim Jr., Peter Dannheim, Kevin Fipps, Kevin Dale Fipps, Lucas Dannheim, Chris Fipps, David Dannheim Jr., James Levisee, Richard Levisee and Walter Levisee. Honorary casket bearers will be all her friends and neighbors.
