Lou Carothers

Lou Nell Carothers, 70, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Saturday, October 18, 2008, at her home. She was born March 20, 1938, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to George Edward Chloe Battle Hall. She was a waitress, a longtime Clovis resident and loved to dance and waltz.

She is survived by 1 son, Mark Goode Cecilia of San Antonio, Texas; 1 daughter, Kathy Lynn Waugh Curtis of Delta, Colorado; 1 sister, Pat Sivley of Nashville, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, Chloe, Hyahwahnah, Juan Cecilia; 5 great grandchildren and 3 nieces, LaDonna, Carolyn Jimmie May.. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands, Bobby Goode Bill Carothers; 1 grandson, Michael Goode; 1 sister, Martha and 2 brothers, Billy Tom James.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the funeral home.
