Lou Snyder

Lou Snyder, 87, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Sunday, March 8, 2009, at her home. She was born August 1, 1921, in Clovis to Warren Bernice Barrett Coplen.

She married Bill Snyder September 17, 1944, in Clovis. She enjoyed working for the Lord and serving others. She was always happy when she was able to help others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Snyder.

Survivors include a son, Bill Snyder Charlotte of Spring, Texas; two daughters, Linda Stroup R. J. of Lake Kiowa, Texas and Londa Hargett Emil of Rio Rancho; four grandchildren, Hal and Steve Snyder and Trey and Noel Hargett; one great grandchild, Skylar Snyder; one brother, Warren Coplen of Silver City; three sisters, Margaret Smith of Portales, Tola Wiegand of Albuquerque and Jeanne Jones of Ft. Collins, Colorado.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at First Christian Church with Rev. Jon Forrest officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.

Casket bearers will be Doug McGregor, Bill Wallace, Keith Risdon, Phillip George, Jimmy Gilliland and J. D. Hileman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church or Hospice Care.
