Louie Mapp

Louie Mapp, age 93 of Clovis, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. He was born on December 23, 1917 in Texas.

Louie worked for Cambells Dairy then for Santa Fe Railroad as an Engineer for 43 years. He played football as a tight end in his early days, and enjoyed doing lawn work at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Mapp, of the home one stepson, Phillip Clements of Clovis one brother, Donnie Fila of Tucson, Arizona. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
