**Obituary for Louis John Corrado**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis John Corrado, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left this world on January 24, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on March 10, 1952, Louis dedicated his life to his family and country, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Louis bravely served in the United States Army from April 29, 1969, to October 7, 1971, achieving the rank of Private First Class. His service included a tour in Vietnam, where he earned several distinguished military honors, including the Combat Infantry Badge, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Louis's commitment to his country and his courage in the face of adversity exemplified the values of honor and sacrifice.

A devoted family man, Louis cherished the time spent with his wife, Valerie, and his five children: Jessica Platt, Sabrina Tarlo, Gina Tarlo, Joseph Corrado, Sean Armstrong. He was a proud grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Justin Platt, Taylor Platt, Anthony Tarlo, Savannah Tarlo, Aubrey Tarlo, Italia Tarlo, Ashley Corrado, Vincent Corrado, Isaiah Armstrong, Xavier Armstrong, Kayla Armstrong, Dominic Griffin, and Billie Rose Griffin, brother Pasquale Corrado. Whether cooking his favorite meals or sharing a good laugh over episodes of The Three Stooges, Louis found immense joy in creating lasting memories with his family.

Louis pursued many passions throughout his life, from camping and traveling to his love for NASCAR and football. His adventurous spirit and zest for life will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial service to celebrate Louis's life will be held on February 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, NM. Friends and family are invited to join together to share their memories and honor a life well-lived.

In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the love and memories he leaves behind. Louis John Corrado's legacy of kindness, humor, and strength will continue to inspire us all.

Louis was preceded in death by: his parents Pasquale and Eda (Marini) Corrado, daughter Christina Winters-Griffin, sister Mary Jo Corrado and granddaughter Isabella Tarlo
