Lucia Rodriguez

Lucia Rodriguez, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Clovis, New Mexico on June 26, 2013.

She was born on August 22, 1932 in Seguin, Texas to Daniel Hernandez and Juanita Garcia. She was a house wife and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Severiano Rodriguez of the home four sons: Ruben Rodriguez of Dalhart, Texas, Ray Rodriguez of Clovis, New Mexico, Jerry Rodriguez of Dalhart, Texas, and Jonathan Rodriguez of Clovis, New Mexico nine daughters: Rose Gaines of Dalhart, Texas, Margaret Rodriguez of Clovis, New Mexico, Estella Hernandez of Clovis, New Mexico, Helen Medina of Clovis, New Mexico, Petra Rodriguez of Clovis, New Mexico, Isavel McClelland of Erie, Pennsylvania, Sylvia Mendez of Littlefield, Texas, Lucy Ross of Edmund, Oklahoma, and Monica Garza of Clovis, New Mexico. Fortynine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents, Daniel Hernandez and Juanita Garcia one daughter, Leonora Reyna one grandson, Alex Rodriguez three brothers and four sisters.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 6:00pm at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clovis, New Mexico with Father Carlos Chavez officiating.

Interment to follow at Mission Garden of Memories, 3600 West 7th Street Clovis, New Mexico.
