Lucile Johnston

Lucile Johnston, 92 of Clovis, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 PM, Monday at Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dick Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Gardens of Memories Cemetery in Clovis.

Lucile was born in Clovis, NM on September 30, 1923 to the home of Earl B. and Ana E (Tucker) Carter. She married Buren Johnston, June 5, 1948 in Clovis, NM. Together, they were married for 64 years.
Lucile worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for several years and retired in 1984. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Clovis.

Lucile is preceded in death by her husband, Buren Johnston, her parents; Earl and Ana Carter and a sister, Marguerite Carter.

Lucile is survived by several cousins; Thelma Lowery, Altha K. Herington, Jim Parks, Marlin Parks, Larry Parks, Carol Nash, sister-in-law, Cora Henson and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be, Jim Parks, Larry Parks, Marlin Parks, Trevor Herington, Todd Spencer and Joe Fiola.

The family of Lucile Johnston wishes to extend our thanks the staff of Wheatfields and Retirement Ranch.
