Services for Lucy Odegaard age 83 of Clovis will be held Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Steed-Todd Chapel with Rev. Bonita Knox officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Roger Odegaard, Chuck Youngquist, Lupe Lopez, Mike Dillon, Bobby Obrien, Jeremy Vaughn, and Jonathan Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be the all the Odegaard and Quackenbush families. Lucy was born November 22, 1925 in North Dakota to Curtis and Annie Gawen Quackenbush. She passed away Thursday, July 8, 2009 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Lucy was married to Howard Odegaard on February 24, 1947 in North Dakota for 52 years. She was a homemaker always cooking for an army and loved to be around family, friends and was loved by all.

She is survived by two sons Lonnie Odegaard of Clovis; Kerby and his wife Selena Odegard of Edgewood, New Mexico; two daughters Maureen Vaughn of Andrews, Texas; Angie Odegaard of Clovis; four sisters Helen Lyseng of Hitterdal, Mississippi; Elaine and her husband Harold Rinas of Egeland, North Dakota; Betty and her husband Eugene Rollenhagen of Montague, Michigan; Marjorie Peggy Carpenter of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; one brother Everett and his wife Dorothy Quackenbush of Clovis, New Mexico; seven grandchildren Heather and her husband Jonathan Martinez, Sheree Cruz, Leigh A. and her husband Mike Dillon, Micah and wife Jennifer Odegaard, Chad Vaughn, Jeremy and wife Heather Vaughn, Amanda Odegaard, and Sara Mae Odegaard; 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard Odegaard, her daughter Cora Mae Odegaard, her parents Annie Kruisk, Step father Alfred Kruisk and father Curtis Quackenbush.
