Lydia Ornelas

Lydia Ornelas, 63, of Portales, NM, has sadly passed away on October 30, 2017, in Clovis, NM. Lydia was born on, August 12, 1954, in Placido, TX, to Ernesto and Rosa Arras.
Lydia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Locardio Ornelas; two sons: Andrew Ornelas and Juan Ornelas; and niece, Tina Ornelas. She is survived by her sons: Freddy Ornelas, and Fabian and Ivy Ornelas; grandson, Carl Linker; sisters: Modesta Acevedo, Mary Chavez of Herford TX, Christina Lucio of Amarillo TX, Norma Arras of OK; and brother Fred Arras of Memphis TX; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be missed by everyone.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 11:00 am, at Iglesia Evangelica de Dios Cristo Jesus, 1100 N Main, Portales NM. Officiating will be Angel Acevedo and Ramon Carillo.
Casket bearers will be Frankie Acevedo, Ruben Lucio, Miguel Montero, Isabel Ornelas, Angel Acevedo, Armondo Castillo, Ralph Ornelas, and Ramon Ornelas. Honorary bearers are family and friends.
