Lynnsey Joann Montgomery was born on October 30, 1976 in Fort Sumner, NM to the home of Joe Bill and Charlotte Screws Montgomery. She passed from this life on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006 after complications of child birth.
Lynnsey married Aaron Hall on July 18, 2003 in Melrose, NM and it was the most joyous occasion in her life, the next was Dec. 23, 2006 when she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
She grew up on the family farm NW of Melrose and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Melrose. She graduated from Melrose High School with the Class of 1995. She received a Bachelors of Business degree from ENMU in 2000 and was working toward her Masters degree at WTAMU. She taught school in Hobbs and Tucumcari where she was the computer teacher, BPA, yearbook and Junior Class Sponsor.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, daughter-in-law, and friend. Lynnsey will be greatly missed, for in some way she truly touched the lives of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband Aaron Hall and precious daughter Lynnsey Charmaynn Myles Hall both of the home in Tucumcari. Other survivors include her parents, Joe Bill and Charlotte Montgomery, a brother Blaynn Montgomery, a sister, DLlaynn Dean Bruce, a nephew, Jaryn Bruce all of Melrose; grandmothers Ann Screws of St. Vrain and Bernice Montgomery of Melrose; one uncle, Doug Karen Screws of St. Vrain and one aunt Jan Schumpert of Raton, NM; five cousins, Kate Schiffelbein of Colorado Springs, CO, Kary Schumpert of Longmont, CO, Kelly Schumpert of Garmish, Germany, and Logan and Lucas Screws of St. Vrain; Father and Mother-in-law, David and Shedra Hall of Tucumcari, sister-in-law, Shannon Rick Arredendo and niece J. J. Arredendo all of Clovis; Grandmother-in-law, Marie Stur
ant of Portales; her dog Rio; several kittens; numerous other relatives, friends, fellow teachers, and the students of THS.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006 at the Melrose High School Old Gym. Pastor Fred Caton will officiate. Burial will follow at Melrose Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Scott Morris, Carlos Ruiz, Janna Solis, Randy Lesly, Nicole Bright-Lesly, Clay Beevers, Keith Taz McAlister, and Gordon Morris. Honorary Casket Bearers will be the Melrose Class of 1995, all of her students, and the BPA, Brandon Aragon, Luke Haller, Jason Felty, Dale Bigler, Dustie Bright, Levi Irwin, Amber Martin, Candy Harris, Cody Byrd, Jason Lafferty, and Tate Melton.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a scholarship fund for Lynnsey Charmaynn Myles Hall. Accounts are set up at American Heritage Bank in Melrose and Everyones Credit Union in Tucumcari.
