Maggie Lou Chick Priest, 88, of Clovis, New Mexico died Tuesday, April 5,br2005 at All Care Assisted Living in Clovis. She was bom December 15, 1916 to Jo and Artie Hutchinson in Tom, Oklahoma.brbrComing to New Mexico in 1928 as a child with her family, Maggie has been abrresident of Curry County since 1941. She worked at local school cafeterias andbrco-owned W J Auction for 20 years. Family members remember her as abrloving mother and grandmommy. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family.brShe was a member of Parkland Baptist Church and the Fairfield Extension Club.brbrMaggie was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, W.A. Priest Sr., greatbrgrandson Jonathan Priest, her parents, 2 brothers Bob Sam Hutchinson, and 3brsisters Pete Brooks, Anna Mae Gilliland Beulah Reeves.brbrShe is survived by 2 sons, James Jerry Priest and Butch Kathy Priest all ofbrClovis, New Mexico; 4 daughters, Jo of the home, Helen Allen Kelley, PeggybrMichael Burns all of Clovis and Mary Lou Tom Jesko of Oklahoma City, 14brgrandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
