Margaret Parkhurst

Margaret E. Parkhurst, 86, of Clovis, New Mexico died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born September 29, 1920 in Earth, Texas.

She was a member of 21st Street Church of Christ and a bridge club member where playing was her passion. She enjoyed flower gardening and oil painting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eula Lee Wilmeth Moorman and her husband, Ben Parkhurst. She is survived by her son, Jerry Parkhurst Lerita of Tuscumbia, Alabama; 3 grandchildren, Matt Parkhurst of San Jose, California, Mark Parkhurst Wendy of Concord, California and Lora Arnold of Mobile, Alabama.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 21st Street Church of Christ with Cecil Bunch officiating. Cremation will take place and inurnment will follow at Mission Garden of Memories at a later date.
