Margaret Cleo Shafer Purcell, 83, of Clovis, died Wdnesday, March 2, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born on August 9, 1921, in Endee, to Willie Lea and Annie Franklin Shafer.brbrShe was a longtim resident of Clovis. She married Raymond E. Purcell on December 22, 1938, in Hereford, Texas. Family members said she loved visiting people. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.brbrShe was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five brothers, Joe, Lewis, Claibom, Willie Lea and Height Shafer; and three sisters, Anna Mae Batson, Alice Douglas and Beulah Bell Hand.brbrSurvivors include two daughters, Beverly Johnson and Ramona Brooks and husbandbrOscar, all of Clovis; five grandchildren, Jeff Brooks Stacy, T.J.
