Margaret Tarin Ressel

Margaret Ressel, 86, of Clovis, New Mexico died Friday, July 21, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on May 1, 1937 in Scholle, New Mexico to Luz and Porfiria Tarin.

She worked as secretary for and attended the West 21st Street Church of Christ. Margaret married Vollie “Abner” Ressel June

19, 1965, in Los Chaves, New Mexico before moving to Clovis.

She is survived by one daughter, Melanie K. Ressel of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister, Mary Ganson of Albuquerque, New

Mexico; and one niece, Kelly Ganson of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vollie “Abner” Ressel; one brother, Sam Tarin; and one brother-in-law, Kenneth Ganson.

Viewing will be prior to services beginning at 9:30 am (MST) at 21st Street Church of Christ on Thursday, July 27,2023. Services will be held at 11:00 am (MST) on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 21st Street Church of Christ in Clovis with Minister Troy Oliver officiating.

Burial will be at 12:00 pm (CDT) on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Benjamin Cemetery, Benjamin, Texas with her nephew Tracy Cartwright, officiating.

Casket bearers will be Jon Barnett, Ken Cable, Charlie Eldridge, Ron Johnson, Bill Morrison, and Doug Schwartz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 21st Street Church of Christ or the New Mexico Christian

Children's Home.
