Margarito Lozano

Margarito Mick Lozano, Jr. was 41 when he went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2012 at the University Hospital in Albuquerque, NM.

Margarito was born to Marylou and SSGT. Margarito, Lozano Sr., on July 5, 1971 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. As a child he grew up and attended schools in Hawaii, Germany, and Colorado. In 1983 he moved to Clovis, NM and graduated from Clovis High School in 1989. He pursued a Criminal Justice degree at ENMU and worked for Brinks Incorporated as a Security Specialist and Manager for eleven years in Albuquerque, NM. Later he became an Assistant Manager for Spectators Bar and Grill and was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 99.

He enjoyed traveling with his friends and family to concerts and venues to watch his favorite bands. He loved belting out his favorite songs at karaoke. He was passionate about his Dallas Cowboys, Lakers, and Oklahoma Sooners. Magaritos favorite joy in life was to make people laugh. He will be forever remembered for always being so outgoing and having a remarkable sense of humor, cracking joke after joke. He always had a great spirit that illuminated up the room, and a great compassion and thoughtfulness for others.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Lozano of Clovis, NM two brothers, Christopher Lozano of Albuquerque, NM and David Roden of Clovis, NM one sister, Denise Yvette Sena of Clovis, NM one nephew, Julian Lozano of Albuquerque, NM grandparents, Phoebe Baca of Clovis, NM, Bennie Baca of Clovis, NM and Olga Lozano of Muleshoe, TX Aunt Angelina Baca of Clovis, NM and numerous other aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his father, SSGT. Margarito, Lozano Sr grandfather, Inez Lozano sisterinlaw, May Lozano and his uncle, David Baca.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in the SteedTodd Chapel with Donald Sawyer, officiating. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in the SteedTodd Chapel with Deacon Bob Pullings, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be, Gonzalo Lozano, Jr., Jose Junior Lozano, Lorenzo Rivas, Robert Zebrowski, Johnny Rodriguez, and Jimmy Gigio Baca.
