Margarito Manuel Quintana, 52, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. He was born June 6, 1954 in La Joya, Chihuahua, Mexico to Mateo Librada Villegas Quintana.

He was a resident of Clovis for the past 35 years. He married Virginia Sandoval. February 1, 1979 in Clovis. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Quintana of the home in Clovis, New Mexico; 2 step daughters, Lisa Boyd Shayne and Joann Gasbarro Bruno all of Lubbock, Texas; 1 step son, Tommy Sandoval of Clovis, New Mexico; 2 brothers, Moises Qunitana and Manuel Quintana both of Chihuahua, Mexico; 3 nieces, Dolores Quintana, Hilda Jesmen Quintana Quintana all of Chihuahua, Mexico and Olga Calderon Jose of Fort Worth, Texas; numerous other nieces and nephews and 4 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Sandoval, Shayne Boyd, Bruno Gasbarro, Alfonso Sandoval, Federico Quintana and Felipe Hermosillo.

Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis, New Mexico with Father Sotero Sena as celebrant. A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., before the Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis, New Mexico.
