Maria Colmenero

Maria (Raquel) Colmenero passed away peacefully surrounded by all her loved ones on Friday, December 13th in Lubbock, Texas. Born on February 9th, 1975 to Vicente and Roquelito Monarrez.

Maria was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She was known for her kind and comforting personality. Maria cherished spending time with loved ones, especially her husband of 31 years, her son and daughters, and her grandbaby Camilo.

Maria is survived by Rafael Colmenero, husband, Lorenzo Colmenero (Brittany), Claudia Colmenero (Edgar), Jazmin Colmenero, Camilo Reyes, Vicente Monnarrez (Father) and siblings.

She was preceded in death by Raquelito Monarrez (mother) and Andres Monarrez (brother).

A viewing will be held at Steed Todd Funeral Home on Sunday December 15th from 2:00-7:00pm and a Rosary at 6:00pm.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 16th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe catholic Church.

Mass will be officiated by Father Sotero-Sena.
