Maria Fonteno

Maria “Margaret” Fonteno 84 of Clovis, died Thursday, March 30, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona She was born in Mexico to Adan Gonzalez and Maria Gonzalez She was a teacher at Clovis school district for 35 years.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church since 1966 until her move to Tucson, Arizona in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Adan Gonzalez. Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Fonteno, of Tucson, Arizona, grandson, and great grandson, brother, Sergio, Gonzalez, of California, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rosary service will be held at Sacred Heart on Monday, April 17th at 9:00am and will be officiated by Father Michael. Services will follow at 9:30am.

Burial Will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the lighthouse Mission in Clovis.
