Maria Galvan

Maria Trinidad Galvan, age 89, of Farwell, TX passed away September 16, 2014 in Lubbock, TX.

Maria was born June 5, 1925 in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico to Pablo and Cresensiana Mendoza Moreno. She was a parishioner of San Jose Catholic Church in Texico, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She also loved reading her bible.

Maria is survived by her children Vince Galvan, Frank and wife Dalia Galvan, Isidro and wife Christina, Javier and wife Toni Galvan, Gustavo and wife Debbie Galvan, Maria Marquez, Ray and wife Maria Galvan, Ralph and wife Pauline Galvan, and Ruben and wife Leticia Galvan 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and sister Carmen Moreno.

She is preceded in death by her parents Pablo Moreno and Cresensiana Mendoza husband Joe Quirino Galvan daughter Rosalinda Galvan two granddaughters Aliya Galvan and Monica Galvan two brothers Jesus Moreno, and Tereso Moreno and one sister Senona Moreno.

A Rosary Service will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at SteedTodd Funeral Home in Clovis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2014 at San Jose Catholic Church in Texico, NM. Burial will follow at Sunset Terrace in Farwell, TX.
