Maria Perez

Mary Gloria Perez, 59, of Clovis, New Mexico died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born October 20, 1948 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico to Filadelfio Clarita Ronquillo Zamora.

Mary grew up in the Fort Sumner and Yeso areas before moving to Clovis in the 1980s. In 1982 she married Joe Perez in Clovis. She worked for Max and Miriam Wertheim in Fort Sumner for many years before moving to Clovis.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Willie Ronquillo. She is survived by two sons, Philipp Maryann of Clovis and Anthony of Arizona; her only sister Antonia Gallegos of Clovis; two brothers, Horacio Mary Zamora of Clovis and George Nancy Zamora of Belen and two grandsons, Phillip and Jesus She also leaves behind her seven nieces, six nephews and special friends Debbie and Lee Lopez.

Pallbearers will be her son Philipp; nieces Rita and Dolores Gallegos; nephews Danny Zamora, Joseph Gallegos and Paul Gallegos.

Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis with Father Sotero Sena as celebrant. Burial will follow at Fort Sumner Cemetery in Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
