Maria Antonia Sandoval, 81, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at her home in Clovis. She was born February 16, 1929, in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Manuel Edwina Ulibarri.
She came to Clovis in 1946. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She loved sewing.
She is survived by 7 daughters, Emily Anaya, Beatrice Sandoval, Jennifer Berry, Josephine Mount and Dorothy Marquez all of Clovis, Cindy Crustitla of Phoenix, Arizona and Dolores Ulibarri of Amarillo, Texas 2 sons, Manuel Ulibarri and Raymond Ulibarri both of Amarillo extended children, Theresa Cristan of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Eloida Apodaca, Deanna Valero and Marie Anaya all of Clovis and Ester Pearson of Tonopah, Arizona 50 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents 3 daughters, Betty Apodaca, Theresa Baca and Barbara Ulibarri 1 son, Arthur Ulibarri 1 grandson, Aaron Apodaca and 1 granddaughter, Judy Ulibarri 2 brothers, Nabor Ulibarri and Manuel Ulibarri and 1 sister, Mary Flores.
A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at SteedTodd Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Sotero Sena as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.
Casket bearers will be grandsons, Kameron Anaya, Anthony Apodaca, Aaron Dodge, Charile Dodge, Miles Sandoval and Troy Mount. Honorary casket bearers will be all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
