Graveside services for Marie Beevers age 84 of Clovis will be held Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beevers Cemetery near Forrest, New Mexico. She passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis. She was born August 17, 1924 in Cuervo, New Mexico to Huey Castleton and Magie Barker Daniels. She grew up most her life in the Santa Rosa and Tucumcari, New Mexico areas. She worked as a sales clerk for Gibsons Department Store retiring in 1983. She came to live in Clovis in 2006. She enjoyed playing Dominos and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one son Doug and wife Jolene Beevers of Clovis; one daughter Marilyne and husband Bill Lindsay of Austin, Texas; three sisters Virginia Holley of Commerce, Texas; Dorothy Beevers of Forrest, New Mexico; Kathern White of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren Day Dupre of Clovis; Angie Gault of Clovis; Kevin Spears of Pine Bluff, Wyoming; Brenda Beevers of Clovis; DeLea Becker of Austin, Texas; and Clay Beevers of Clovis; six great grandchildren; one great- great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Harol Beevers, one son Harol David Beevers, Jr., her parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
