Marie Grider

Marie Grider, 71, of Melrose, New Mexico, passed away on July 8, 2010, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born on April 29, 1939 in Ladder Ranch, New Mexico, to John and Dorothy Martin Stevens.

She married Billie Joe Grider on January 11, 1957 in Silver City, New Mexico. She worked as a Clerk at Allsups Convenient Store in Melrose, enjoyed arts and crafts, and was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband three daughters, Cindy Leroy Berkley of Las Vegas, Nevada, Shirley Jim Wood of Capitan, New Mexico, and Patsy Grider of Melrose one son, Randy Grider of Melrose one brother, Tommy Stevens of Alamagordo, New Mexico one sister, Vivian Morris of Las Vegas, Nevada 5 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

No services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
