Marie Lusby

Marie Katherine Lusby, 92, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. She was born February 20, 1916, in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry and Mary Schmeltz Froehlich.

She lived most of her life in Baltimore and moved to Clovis 12 years ago to be close to her daughter. She loved to read and sew. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Clovis.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Campbell Donald L. of Clovis; grandchildren, Donna L. Campbell, Dale M. Holden, Jeanne A. Allison, Lynn A. Davis and Gary S. Campbell and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William E. Lusby in 1992 and 2 brothers, John Howard.

A local service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clovis with Rev. Bonita Knox officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2008 at Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland.
