Marie Hall Sturdivant, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born on February 25, 1925 in Blooming Groove, Texas to James Frank and Emery Estella Jutson. In 1932, she and her two brothers were placed in the IOOF Oddfellows home in Corsicana, TX where they remained until they graduated from high school. In 1944, she married Leonard W. Hall, and after WWII ended, they moved to Colfax County, New Mexico where they farmed, ranched and raised a family. In 1973, they retired and moved to Portales, New Mexico.
Her parents, brothers, husband Leonard and second husband Walt preceded her in death.
She leaves a son, David Hall Shedra a daughter, Jean Mason three grandchildren, Scott Parkinson, Shannon Arredondo Rick and Aaron Hall Becky. Grandma Rae also leaves four great granddaughters, JJ, Kylie, Charmaynn and Kaitlyn, as well as numerous friends to mourn her passing.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held as soon as arrangements have been finalized.
