Marjorie Fair was called to be home with Jesus on January 31, 2013 at her home in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born April 5, 1927 to Clarence N. Norrell and Essie Moore Norrell in Cleburne, Texas. Marjorie received her B.S. Degree from Howard Payne University and did work on her Masters Degree. She taught Reading and English as a second language.
Margie was a student of the Bible and a faithful Sunday School Teacher. She was very active in Mission work and organizations in the Local Church. She married Marshall Fair, January 21, 1954 in Cleburne, Texas.
She is survived by her Husband, Marshall of the family home, one daughter, Karen VanRuiten and husband Jake of Portales and four grandchildren, Zach, Riley, Joey and Katie. She accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was 13 years of age. She was a member of Parkland Baptist Church.
Visitation will be on Sunday, February 3, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at SteedTodd Funeral Home in Clovis, New Mexico. Funeral services are at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Parkland Baptist Church in Clovis, New Mexico with Bruce Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens on Clovis, New Mexico. Casket bearers are Jake VanRuiten, Joey VanRuiten, Zach Smith, Kenneth Jetton, Richard Roy and Clark Strickland.
