Mark Steven Yannotti, beloved husband, Dad, Poppa, brother, Son, uncle and friend to all, entered into his Savior’s presence on June 6, 2021 at age 64.
Mark was born on June 23, 1956 in Palo Alto, CA to Frank and Connie Yannotti.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn, daughter Kelsey and her husband Aaron Stockwell, grandchildren Rosie and Elizabeth, Siblings Dominick Yannotti, Vince Yannotti, Susan Krushin, Margie Hancock, and David Yannotti.
Mark began working at the Hillcrest Park Zoo in Clovis, NM in 1988. He started as a Zoo Keeper and was promoted to assistant Zoo Director, his position at the time of his death.
In addition to being a great husband, father and grandfather, Mark loved all animals, especially his dogs which he trained and entered into dog shows.
Mark’s favorite past time was spending time with his grandkids Rosie and Beth.
His favorite verse in the Bible to stand on was Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10:00 am, New Mexico time, at the First Baptist Church of Texico.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to your favorite charity in Mark’s name.
