Marshall Robinson

Marshall Eugene Robinson, age 97, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on Sunday February 10, 2013 at the Farwell Care and Rehab Center in Farwell.

Marshall was born on September 10, 1915 in Grandview, Texas to Luke Oliver and Allie Mae Wallace Robinson. He married Audrey Wilma Johnson on May 4, 1947, in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a Clovis resident since 1967, moving to Clovis from Roswell. He was a member of Sandia Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by one son, Glenn Robinson of Clovis two daughters, Linda Dallas Anderson of Westcliffe, Colorado and Susan Mark Schumpert of Pittsfield, Maine four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, all his nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, his three brothers and his wife Audrey.

In lieu of a funeral, so that his family can be gathered together, a memorial service will be held early in the afternoon of August 28, 2013 at the Sandia Baptist Church so that his family and his church family can celebrate his life.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be missed, not in sorrow, but in joyful remembrance.

Marshall will be available for viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 and Wednesday, February 13, 2013.
