Martha Jones

aligncenterMartha M. Jones, age 86 of Clovis, New Mexico died May 22, 2008 at the Beehive after a battle with Alzheimers. She was born May 17, 1922 in Richmond, Indiana to Walter Saylor and Dixie Robinson Saylor. She graduated with the 1940 class of Richmond High School. She married Paul B. Jones of Centerville, Indiana and has one daughter, Susan. She worked in retail sales and enjoyed her friends and co-workers at Harbes Hallmark Card Store. She and Paul were avid fishermen and she enjoyed sewing and playing cards. Her husband, Paul, her parents, and one sister Betty A. Crouch preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Susan Adams of Clovis, New Mexico; two grandchildren Kenny Adams Kim of Edgewood, New Mexico; Kristy Roberts Chase of Melrose, New Mexico ; five great- grandchildren, Aaron, Lauren and Kennan Adams, Rylee and Guner Roberts; two nephews Larry Crouch and family of Lexington, Kentucky; Mark Crouch and family of Milpitas, California and dear friends Liz Ketron and family and Dorothy Knarzer and family of the Richmond area.

aligncenterGraveside services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis with Rev. Greg Martin assisted by Aaron Adams officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenny Adams, Chase Roberts, Bill Adams, and all of those who call themselves Senior Companions and Care Givers. Memorials maybe made to the Alzheimers association.
