Martha Light

Martha Pearl Light died January 22, 2013 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Dallas County, Texas to Robert Lee and Francis Stevenson Perciful on March 5, 1938. She was married to Samuel Light of Clovis, New Mexico since May 1976. She is survived by her sons: Ray E. Martin of New Jersey, Roy L. Martin and Kenneth W. Martin of Allen, Texas and Jackie Carroll Light of Clovis, New Mexico two brothers: Doug Stevenson of Amarillo, Texas and Robert Lee Perciful, Jr. of Glendale, Arizona three sisters: Betty Francis of Alaska, Shelly Cole of Houston, Texas and Nina Stevenson of Amarillo, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Eunice Murdick.

She worked at the Golden Age Retirement Home for nineteen years as a bookkeeper, receptionist and member of the staff. She has considered Clovis as her home and grew up in Grady and Clovis. She loved crossword puzzles, playing 42 and reading.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
