Marva Motl

Marva Ann Motl passed away on June 28, 2021, in Clovis, New Mexico.

Marva was born into the home of Richard and Janet Motl on January 17, 1956, in Lubbock, Texas. Marva was raised in both Anton, Texas and Clovis, New Mexico and graduated from Clovis High School in 1974. After High School Marva pursued a formal education in dentistry and became a talented and skillful dental hygienist as well as a dental surgical assistant. Marva created a home in several spaces across quite a bit of America living in cities such as Amarillo, Texas, San Diego, California, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Dallas, Texas.  When Ms. Marva retired, she moved back to Clovis, NM and spent her final days with her face buried in grand books or gardening in her yard.

Marvas’ family will forever remember her as a “free spirit who was always ready for a new adventure.” Marva was a beautiful, intelligent, wild hearted individual who truly took on the world dancing to the beat of her own drum. She will be truly missed.

Marva was preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Janet (Brazil) Motl.

Marva is survived by her brother: Blake (Svana) Motl of Sandia Park, New Mexico.

A graveside service for Marva will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Anton Cemetery in Anton, Texas at 10:00AM MST and 11:00 CST
