Mary Bradley

Mary Ann Bradley age 72, passed away at her home Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Texico, New Mexico. She was born September 13, 1938 in Belleville, Illinois to Slaton and Lillian Johnson Whitson. Mary married Charles C. Bradley, August 7, 1957 in St. Clair County, Illinois. She worked for many years as the church Secretary for First Baptist Church in Texico and as a Bus Driver for a service providing transportation for the handicap. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Texico and was very involved in many Womens organizations within the church. She taught childrens Sunday school, and assisted for many years in the A.R. Reading program with Texico Schools.

Mary is survived by her dear husband of 53 years, Charles C. Bradley of Texico one son Jerry and wife Becki Bradley of Texico Six grandchildren, Brittany Bradley Brown of Dimmitt, Texas Chase Bradley of Texico, New Mexico Chance and wife Keisha of Clovis, New Mexico Tori Bradley of Bootleg, Texas Blaine Bradley of Bootleg, Texas and William Bradley of Spartanburg, South Carolina two brothers Norbert and wife Janelle Kassing of Red Bud, Illinois Gilbert and wife Barbara Kassing of Arlington, Texas. She is preceded in death by two sons Rob Bradley and Tony Bradley, her parents, one brother and one grandchild Katie Bradley.

Closed Casket Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Texico with Rob Hollis and Seth Ellsworth officiating. Burial will follow at the Texico Cemetery in Texico, New Mexico. Casket bearers will be Blaine Bradley, Chase Bradley, Chance Bradley, Duwain Hill, Ken Waters, and John Hill. Honorary casket bearers will be all her friends and neighbors.
