Mary Chavez

Tina Chavez, age 52, entered into rest on Friday, August 21, 2015 at her home in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born on November 13, 1962 in Clovis to the home of Joseph Chavez & Mary Gonzales.

Tina loved spending time with her grandchildren playing ball and spending all the time that she could with them. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together and studying her bible.

She is survived by the father of her children, Clifford Baca, Jr.; her daughter Nellie (Mathew) Aragon; her sons, Clifford Baca III, and Richard Baca; three grandsons, Azuruah Tripp Aragon, Zachariah Scooter Aragon, and Hezekiah Hunter Aragon; her brothers and sisters, Manuel (Jenny) Chavez, Val (Maggie) Gonzales, Johnny (Ruby) Gonzales, Cipriana Aragon, Joe Gonzales, Ruby Chavez, Dayton Chavez, Clayton Chavez, and Elton (Susan) Chavez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lucille Mondragon and two brothers, JR Gonzales and JoJo Chavez.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Legacy Life Church at 11:00 am with Pastor David Lombrana, Officiating. Cremation will follow after services and burial will take place at a later date. Serving as Casket Bearers are, Johnny Gonzales, Val Gonzales, Manuel Chavez, Dayton Chavez, Alfonso Sandoval, Joe Gonzales, Mark Nelson, Josh Nelson, Isiah Avilez and Miguel Avilez.
